I bought Twilight Tanning Bed teeth whitener but I have stopped going to the tanning beds (too expensive right now,) so I was wondering if I could use the teeth whitener in the real sunlight outside while laying by the pool. Would this be effective for whiter teeth? Or do I need the exact rays of the tanning bed?

It works by using Ultra-Violet rays, so obviously the sun would eventually have an effect and may whiten your teeth slightly. However the levels are not going to be as high as on the tanning bed, so it may take several times longer. Also I wouldn’t recommend laying in the sun for extra time than normal just to whiten your teeth.
This site has a few other types of home whitening kits, that use whitening solutions instead of relying on Ultra Violet rays. I realise that you may have spend a lot of money on your Twilight kit, and want to stick with that, but some of these kits are available as a free trial, so it may be worth a go. Then you can spend your time in the sun sipping Pina Coladas instead of whitening your teeth!
